NASA satellite Pirate By The Students


 NASA Satellites
Jakarta, When exposed to flames NASA satellites in Earth's atmosphere after a seven-year mission, a group of students to control the incident. However, do not be surprised. These students do not really hijack NASA satellite to destroy but rather part of their new jobs. Students are helping NASA pilot in guiding the satellite earth back to earth.


These students are part of the group Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) at the University of Colorado-Boulder. This team consists of 20 students, accompanied by several professional technicians who help control the five NASA satellites.

"Although we are sad to see such a successful scientific mission is over but we are proud to have students who are able to contribute in the process of spacecraft orbit safely," said director of data systems and mission operations Bill Possel LASP.

LASP is one of the few institutions in the world that provides training and certification to operate the spacecraft for NASA. "This is the only university that can control the five satellites is unique," said Possel. One of them was Kepler spacecraft that is worth U.S. $ 600 million.
